Daily executional role, 90% of time spent on the floor<br>managing performance and productivity of all inbound, Production, Dispatch, Housekeeping,<br>5S.&nbsp;Becoming a 2IC to the GM.</p> <p><strong>Your responsibilities will include:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Productive performance of Inbound, Outbound,&nbsp;Dispatch, Housekeeping operational performance.&nbsp;Budget / cost management</li> <li>Overall management and coordination of all DC activities (Dispatch Department, Inbound and Outbound Department) so that orders are shipped on schedule and product is within quality standards and cost objectives</li> <li>&nbsp;Ensuring DC adheres to company policy and administer practices in a fair and equitable manner. Managing budget and controlling expenses&nbsp;</li> <li>Recommending policies and programs, which guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and the profitability of the operation</li> <li>&nbsp;Drives creation of staffing plans, schedules, quality initiatives and process change initiatives to enable the DC to meet and exceed business objectives</li> <li>&nbsp;Ensures standards for product quality, equipment, and operator performance are maintained and that cost-effective technology is used to maximize production</li> <li>&nbsp;Keep up to date on information and technology affecting distribution operations to increase innovation&nbsp;and ensure continual improvement throughout the DC</li> <li>&nbsp;Sets / clarifies requirements and expectations for DC Managers</li> <li>&nbsp;Oversee and manage the entire DC Operations, Logistics, Infrastructure, Projects, Continuous Improvements Programs etc as second in charge to the General Manager and manage other Key Stakeholders, SPs etc.</li> <li>&nbsp;Achieve the all the DCs set Targets, Objectives and KPIs.</li> <li>Support the DC GM, Subordinates and other Stakeholders. Measures performance, provides feedback, and hold DC Managers accountable for their performance and the performance of their departments</li> <li>Takes proactive steps to ensure that best practices are shared across all departments &amp;amp; shifts Achieve all the set Targets, Objectives and KPIs for the DC</li> <li>Oversee the DC in the absence of the GM and ensure that all standards are met, maintained and or improved</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li><strong>Qualification &amp; Experience:</strong></li> <li>Relevant tertiary qualification (Logistics, Supply Chain, Ind. Engineering, Management) and/or further Senior Qualification 5+ years DC Operations experience in a complex or large/multinational operation at senior level.</li> <li>Previous managerial experience within a Distribution Center.</li> <li>Senior Management Level Operations</li> <li>Previous Warehouse Management System (WMS)</li> <li>Overall DC/FC/W/house general management</li> </ul> <p><strong>Attributes Required</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">:</span></p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated leadership ability required.</li> <li>PC knowledge and ability required.</li> <li>Strong oral and written communication, analytical, organizational and time management skills required.</li> <li>People Management,</li> <li>Perf.
