<p><strong>takealot.com, a leading South African online retailer, is looking for highly talented Facilities Coordinator to join our team at the Kwa Zulu Natal DC</strong></p>

<p><strong>This position reports to the :Facilities Manager</strong></p>
<p><strong>Your responsibilities can include:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Qualifications and experience:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>2 years of professional experience in a similar role</li>
<li>Relevant tertiary qualifications a plus OH& and knowledge building standards </li>
<li>Provide first line contact for the Facilities Department for all internal and external customers/contractors</li>
<li> Liaise with suppliers/contractors to follow through on approved work.</li>
<li> Perform regular building inspections and maintain inspection documentation.</li>
<li> Assist in the compliance of the Health and Safety policy and safe working practices</li>
<li> Respond to building emergencies as needed and be a member of the emergency response team</li>
<li> Plans and facilitates employee desk moves</li>
<li>Collection of post and packages from SAPO</li>
<li> Oversees installation, inspections, repairs and maintenance of buildings, infrastructure, and facility equipment</li>
<li> Use the existing ticket system to track open requests and to provide regular updates</li>
<li> User access management via the existing access control system</li>
<li> Retrieving CCTV footage or access control logs when required, provided necessary approval has been given by Exco</li>
<li> Manage parking allocation based on company policy</li>
